YouOnIt is for winding up your mates about football, not for hurting people. Swear about the penalty, not at the person. Here is the line, and what happens when it is crossed.
1. Never OK
- Hate: slurs or attacks on who someone is, such as race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Harassment: targeting, threatening or intimidating another player.
- Sexually explicit content: nudity, sexual imagery, or sexual language aimed at a person.
- Impersonation, scams and spam.
These rules apply to everything other players can see: messages, photos, display names, usernames, and table and group names.
2. How the app enforces this
Message text and names are screened automatically before they are posted. Content matching our prohibited list is refused on the spot. Photos are not screened automatically, so reports matter even more there.
Press and hold any message to report it; open a player's profile to report or block them. A message you report disappears for you immediately. Blocking hides you and the other player from each other everywhere, and lets us know.
3. What we do about it
A person reviews every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the accounts responsible are restricted, suspended or closed, with or without warning, depending on how serious it is.
Think we got it wrong? Email karum@youonit.co.uk and a person will look again.
