Player of the Season is the Open League's prize competition for the 2026/27 season: a £150 Amazon.co.uk gift card for the player who finishes the season top of the Open League. It is free to enter, open to players in the UK and run by YouOnIt Limited, and these are its rules. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. The prize

One £150 Amazon.co.uk e-gift card, sent by email.

There is no cash alternative, and the prize cannot be exchanged or transferred. If something outside our control means we cannot get an Amazon.co.uk gift card, we will give a prize of the same value or more instead.

2. Who can win

  • Anyone with a YouOnIt account who is 18 or over and lives in the UK.
  • One account per person, as our Terms & Conditions say. Only the points on your own account count.
  • Not open to YouOnIt Limited's directors or employees, or anyone who lives with them.

3. Entering

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. Every Open League gameweek you play in the 2026/27 season counts towards it, exactly as it counts towards your division.

Nothing you can buy in the app improves your chances. Chips cannot be bought, and stickers and sticker packs change how the app looks, never how the game plays.

4. How the winner is decided

Player of the Season is the player with the most Open League points for the 2026/27 season once its last gameweek has been decided: the top of the Final standings on the Open League screen. Points are earned exactly as the Open League's own rules say, in Settings → How the game works.

If two or more players finish level on points at the top, they share the title, and the prize is split equally between them, each share rounded up to the nearest pound.

The title always follows the points, but the prize goes to Player of the Season only if they can claim it (sections 2, 5 and 6). If they cannot, it goes to the next eligible player on the Final standings, and so on down.

The competition runs for the whole of the Open League's 2026/27 season and closes when that season is over: once the last gameweek of the 2026/27 Premier League season has been played and every Open League table of it has settled. The Open League screen says when that has happened.

If the Premier League season is cut short, the competition closes when the Open League season ends, and the final standings at that point decide it.

5. Playing fair

We check the result before the prize is given. Anyone who broke our Terms & Conditions during the season cannot win it, and it goes to the next eligible player on the Final standings. That includes:

  • Playing on more than one account, or letting someone else play on yours.
  • Working with other players to push one of you up the standings, such as passing chips through pots on purpose.
  • Automating play, or exploiting a bug.

If you think we've got something wrong, email karum@youonit.co.uk and a person will look again.

6. Claiming the prize

  • If you win, we'll email you at the address on your YouOnIt account within 14 days of the season ending.
  • To claim it, reply within 28 days and confirm that you are 18 or over and live in the UK. We may ask for proof of both.
  • We'll email you the gift card's code within 14 days of you confirming.
  • If you don't reply in time, can't show you can claim it, or turn it down, it goes to the next eligible player on the Final standings, on the same terms.

7. Your details

We use your email address to contact you about the prize, and keep a record of who won and that the prize was sent. Anything you send to prove your age or where you live is used only for that check, and deleted once the prize has been sent. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

The Final standings show the winner's display name, as the leaderboard shows every player's. If anyone asks us who won, we tell them the winner's display name and county, unless the winner has asked us not to.

8. Who runs it
