Common questions
How do I sign in?
With an email address and password, or with Continue with Apple or Continue with Google above the form. Apple and Google hand over your email and, if you let them, your name; you then check your name, pick a username, confirm you are 18 or over, and you are in. Continue with Apple is on iPhone and iPad only.
I forgot my password
On the login screen tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address, and we'll send you a reset link. It opens a page where you can set a new password, then you can sign back in. If you signed up with Apple or Google there is no password: just use the same button again.
I didn't get an email from you
Check your spam or junk folder first, because that's usually where it ends up, and make sure you used the address you signed up with. Verifying your email is optional and lives in Settings → Account, where you can resend the link. For a password reset we show the same confirmation whether or not an account exists, so a typo looks exactly like a success. If nothing arrives after two tries, email us and we'll sort it by hand.
How many players does a table need?
Three to start, and up to twenty. A new table waits in its lobby until three players are in and the owner presses Start; until then there is no round and nothing to bet on. Everyone starts every round on the same 1,000 chips, whatever the table.
How do I join a mate's table?
Every table has a code made of three footballer surnames. Tap the invite link your mate shared and it opens the table in the app. Don't have the app yet? It's free on the App Store and Google Play: install it, then tap the link again. Or open Find a table on the Home screen and type the three names into the three slots. On Android the Google Play button on the invite page carries the code through the install, so the table is waiting when you sign up. A code won't let someone back in if they were removed from the table. They need a fresh invite.
What's the Open League?
The public weekly table, for anyone without a table of mates yet or anyone who wants another game. Enter a Premier League gameweek from the Home screen and you're seated straight away with players who finish about where you do; a table starts once three are in and fills to eight, and entry stays open until three hours before the gameweek's last kick-off. Where you finish pays points, points only go up, and seven divisions run from Sunday League to World Class. Betting opens once the bookmakers have priced the gameweek.
Is this real gambling? Can I lose money?
No. YouOnIt uses virtual chips that have no cash value. There's nothing to deposit, nothing to withdraw, no way to buy chips and no way to turn them into money or anything else of value. It's a social game: chips are only for keeping score.
Is it free? What do you sell?
The app is free to download and free to play. The only things for sale are stickers. Supporter stickers are five one-off purchases at £2.99, bought from Profile → Support the creator and shown on the corner of your profile card. The Banter pack is a one-off £1.99 purchase of seven stickers to send in chat, bought from any chat: tap the smiley beside the photo button. They are cosmetic. Chips are never for sale and no purchase changes a price, a result or the table, so nobody can buy their way up it. One sticker, Day One, is only sold until 31 January 2027 and will never be sold again.
A sticker I bought hasn't shown up
Open Settings → Account and tap Restore purchases. It checks with Apple or Google and adds anything bought with that Apple ID or Google account, including on a new phone. If a purchase was refunded, the sticker or pack it paid for is removed. Still missing? Email us with the store receipt and we will put it right.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. You'll be asked to sign in again to confirm, then your account and personal data are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone, and your stickers and packs leave with the account; a new account signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account can restore the ones you bought. If you own a table with other players still in it, transfer that table to someone else first. The app tells you if one of your tables is in the way. No longer have the app? How do I change my username or display name?
Go to Settings → Account. You can change your display name and your username there. Usernames have to be unique, so you'll see a live check as you type.
Someone is being abusive in a chat
Press and hold the message to report or block from inside the app, or open their profile to report or block them there. Or email us with your username, the squad or table name, and roughly when it happened. A person reviews every report within 24 hours, and accounts that break the Community Guidelines are restricted, suspended or closed.
A result settled incorrectly
Fixture results come from third-party sports data providers, and occasionally a result gets corrected after the fact. If you think a pot settled wrongly, email us with the table and the fixture and we'll look into it. We can re-settle affected pots so the chips end up where they should.
